This program does not make the student a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®). To earn the RBT credential, the student must also, after completing the 40-hour training, pass the RBT Initial Competency Assessment with a qualified supervisor, complete a criminal background check and abuse registry check, apply to the BACB, and pass the RBT examination. These steps are separate from this program. Recruitment NYC does not guarantee that the student will pass the examination, obtain the credential, or obtain employment.
The online 40-hour training is designed to meet the 2026 training eligibility requirement for RBT certification and is offered independent of the BACB. Recruitment NYC is not affiliated with the BACB. RBT® and BACB® are registered trademarks of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board®, Inc.
An official CPR credential (CPR card), where offered, is issued only by an authorized certifying body (such as the American Heart Association or American Red Cross) through a certified instructor.
